Adopt a penguin:

Since 1968, SANCCOB (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds) has treated more than 85,000 sea birds - the majority of which are the vulnerable African penguin. SANCCOB is a rehabilitation centre situated in Table View, Cape Town. Every year, approximately 1 500 oiled, ill, injured and orphaned seabirds are rehabilitated. Recent research by the Animal Demography Unit at the University of Cape Town has shown that the African Penguin population is 19% higher today than it would have been in the absence of SANCCOB’s efforts in rehabilitation.
