Just for fun.... ;) Grandpa's like a tortoise, So old and very slow He's always popping pills And he's got oxygen to go Grandpa's like a tortoise He's grey and very wise If he keeps shrinking at this rate He'll be just half his size Grandpa's like a tortoise He's always in a mess On Thursdays he comes out his house And plays a game of chess Grandpa's like a tortoise He's wrinkled and all stooped He trundles to the sitting room And claims that he is pooped. Grandpa's like a tortoise He never sits up straight He takes so long to do things We always end up late Grandpa's like a tortoise He's lived so very long His bodies frail and aged But his mind's still very strong Grandpa's like a tortoise He's short and round and squat We always catch him napping He does it quite a lot Grandpa's like a tortoise His skin is old and saggy He never tucks his shirt in And his pants are always baggy Grandpa's like a tortoise He cannot touch his toes His eyebrows are all bushy And hair grows out his nose Grandpa's like a tortoise It's wine he likes to drink Colour doesn't matter Red or white or pink. Grandpa's like a tortoise He is a fussy eater He eats up prunes to set him free And downs coffee by the litre Grandpa's like a tortoise He cannot play the harp He likes to play the stock exchange I think he's pretty sharp Grandpa's like a tortoise He's never in a rush He likes to sit and watch TV And everyone must shush Grandpa's like a tortoise He has a dickie heart When he thinks we're not listening He likes to burp and fart Grandpa's like a tortoise He can be very funny He likes to sit out by the pool When it's nice and sunny.
